How it works

  1. Open the scanner. Works in Safari, Chrome and any modern browser, on phones and laptops.
  2. Photograph the page with the built-in camera, or upload photos you already have.
  3. Adjust the corners. The document outline is detected automatically — drag the four handles if you want to fine-tune, and the photo is flattened into a perfect rectangular scan.
  4. Export. Add more pages, reorder them, apply the Magic filter (white background, crisp text), and download one combined PDF.

Why this beats a scanner app

Frequently asked

Is scanning to PDF really free?

Yes. Unlimited pages, no watermarks, no trial. Processing runs on your device, so serving the tool costs almost nothing.

Can I combine several pages into one PDF?

Yes — scan or upload as many pages as you need, reorder them, and export a single multi-page PDF.

What quality does the PDF have?

Pages keep the natural resolution of your camera — up to roughly 260 DPI for an A4 sheet — with perspective corrected and the background whitened.

Are my documents uploaded to a server?

No. Everything runs in your browser. The PDF is generated on your device and never leaves it.
