What is ScanDocument.app?
ScanDocument.app is a free online document scanner for turning photos of paper into PDF or JPG files. It runs in your browser on a phone or computer. You capture or select your own images, adjust the page corners, apply a filter, optionally add a drawn signature, and download the result.

Accounts, payments and permissions
Scanning, filters, signatures and PDF or JPG export are free. The scanner has no registration, login, payment or SMS verification step. You can select images from your device, or allow camera access when taking a photo.
ScanDocument.app is an independent document scanning tool. It is not affiliated with Facebook or Meta and does not handle social media account verification, copyright appeals or account violations. It does not ask for your Facebook password or any other account credentials.
Where your documents go
Camera images, page correction, filters, signatures and PDF generation are processed on your device. Documents are never uploaded. Your current document is saved as a local draft in this browser so you can resume after closing the tab. Use Clear document in the scanner to remove the draft. Download important files: browser storage can be cleared and is not a backup.
A drawn signature is stored separately in your browser; clearing site data removes it. The website uses Know for site visit and crawler analytics, which do not include your scans or signature. The privacy policy explains storage and analytics in detail.
How to check the website
Check the full address in your browser before selecting files or granting camera access. You can look up the domain's current status in the Google Safe Browsing site status report. That report is maintained by Google; linking to it is not a certification or endorsement of this app.
